The Best Way to Keep Champagne Fizzy
Marcio likes champagne. A lot. (And FYI, he's particularly fond of the Veuve Cliquot.) I am too, but rarely more than a glass, which means that there's often a glass or two left over. I remember watching Pan Am stewardesses use the unpoured champagne to wash their hands — decadent indeed — but their option was to pour it down the drain. Marcio taught me this very simple method for keeping it fizzy for a day or so: Aluminum Foil. Simply cover the open bottle and wrap it down tightly.
