What is Best?
While it implies objectivity, “best” is almost always subjective, or — at best — qualified. When we ask for the best of something – whether it’s the best TV, the best headache medicine or the best chocolate chip cookie, we’re really asking what will work best for me or what will I like the best.
Generally, “you get what you pay for” holds true, but finding “the best” isn’t simply a matter of picking the most expensive DVD player or face cream. Best is a reflection of how the features and benefits of any given product fit your or my personal needs and expectations.
The best advice provides what I call “decision-empowering information:” assessments of the most relevant aspects of a product that resonate with the reasons we personally have for choosing one product over another.
At BillyKnowsBest, it’s information gleaned from years of research, shopping, buying, and using all kinds of products. What’s best for me won’t always be best for you, but I’ll always strive to provide you the details you need to know to make that determination for yourself. And whether you agree, disagree or have a product you’d like to recommend, I’d love to hear from you!
