Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk.. And Don’t Wipe it Up With a Sponge!
I learned a lot of wisdom from my mother over the years, so it's fitting for Mother's Day that I share a little tip of her's I actually used today: Don't wipe up spilled milk with a kitchen sponge. The sponge will quickly smell like sour milk, and even after running it through the dishwasher to clean it (another tip, thanks mom), it will still smell. Bounty select-a-size. Saves on using too much towel. And something I learned from Dr. Weiss – let dishes air dry, don’t dry with a cloth – just spreads the germs around.
