The Best Scented Candles: Chandel by DayNa Decker

Decker1 Decker2 Rigaud, the original scented candle, was invented in 1950. It featured a soft wax that perfectly transmitted the natural fragrances with which it was imbued.  It also liquefied and re-solidified quickly, so that the candles didn't tunnel or leave a waxy deposit on the glass.  By 1970, the Rigaud candle was a sensation among consumers of haute decor world-wide.  Today, luxury scented candles are everywhere, but the technology hadn't improved much, until recently. The DayNa Decker Chandel, (coined from the French word “Chandelle” meaning candle) is
an evolution from ancient candle technology to modern functionality.  These candles have a proprietary organic and naturally processed EcoWood Wick®.  It  burns cleaner than an
ordinary cotton wick with an intriguing “teardrop”
shaped flame and a soothing crackling sound. The scents are sophisticated, come in three different versions: Botanika, which come in hand-blown translucent Decker3 glass containers with clear wax, Flora, in opaque white glass with floral and wood scents, and Couture, in luminous black glass with fragrances designed by renowned perfumers.  Find them at a store near you, or buy them online through Amazon.com Marketplace.
