The folks at Popular Science tested the long-life batteries that have been developed to provide fast and furious flashes for digital photography. The winner:  The Energizer e2 Lithium battery (3,107 shots), which beat out the Duracell Powerpix (920 shots) and the Panasonic Oxyride (990 shots) and conventional alkaline batteries (553 shots).
