Just found out that the Neue Museum here in NYC serves strudel made with Splenda at their renowned Viennese cafe. It would be wonderful to find purveyors of other pastries and chocolates
who do the same rather than using maltitol for sweetener which unsettles the stomach to the extreme. There certainly are enough diabetics to warrent such products!
Juniors has a sugar free cheesecake and the Little Pie Company makes an apple pie sans sucrose. Most everything commercially sold that’s fat free usually indicates even more sugar than normal. Edie’s ice cream with Splenda is an exception.
