We had a few friends over for a pool party on Sunday — yes, it was almost 90 degrees in LA, and we cranked the pool heat to nearly the same.  I made fresh lemonade, mint iced tea, and put out an assortment of chips including Bugles, salt & vinegar potato chips, and pink lady apple chips.  But the big hit were the Waleed’s Pita Chips.  I didn’t really even put them out; I left them out on the counter, and a couple of our guests found, opened and devoured them.  My friend Huck summarized their appeal most succinctly, saying "these are like crack." I’ve never smoked crack, but I’d have to agree.  You can order them on-line if you can’t find them locally. The Garlic and Lemon Herb are definitely the best flavors.
