The Best Shampoos: Aussie Moist and Ted Gibson Daily Cleanse

TedGibson As a teenager, I had a big jewfro.  In my 20's, I relaxed my hair for a while, ending that decade with a pony tail. All that hair required a lot of fussing and hair product. Today, my very short buzz cut uses no hair product – just a trim in the shower every couple weeks with my Conair EvenCut. So I have to rely on others for their hair product expertise.  This month, the editors at Real Simple magazine tested 195 shampoos, in the under- and over-$10 category.  Their overall winners: Aussie Moist and Ted Gibson Daily Cleanse.   Check out the full list at RealSimple.com.  Buy Aussie Moist at your local drugstore, amazon.com or drugstore.com; Find Ted Gibson at beauty supply stores or at amazon.com, including a 2 oz. travel/trial size.

WEN is probably the best shampoo, but very pricey and only available by mail order. I’m going to try the two you recommend. The Avon leave in repair is the best that I’ve tried, however.
